Drive, ride, bus, and walk throughout the Markham neighbourhood and beyond with a web of transit options at your doorstep.

Drive & Thrive
With quick access to highways 407, 404, and 7, it’s a breeze to drive around Markham and beyond. Drive to Yonge-Dundas Square in 30 minutes, reach the Toronto Pearson Airport in 22 minutes, and arrive at the waterfront in 30 minutes.

Get on Track
Passengers can ride across the GTA in comfort on the GO Train. Catch up on work, read a book, or watch the world go by from your window seat, without having to worry about traffic. Arrive at Union Station from Unionville GO Station in 40 minutes, with routes as far-reaching as Barrie, Kitchener, Milton, Hamilton, and Oshawa.

Busy Bussing
Together, VIVA, YRT, and GO Shuttles offer a network of buses across the York Region connecting to the TTC and GO Trains. Community buses reach high schools, colleges, and universities. VIVA buses are so frequent; they don’t bother with set schedules.

Walk This Way
Although Markham transit makes it easy to get around, so much shopping, dining, schools, parks, and entertainment is within walking distance. Sidewalks, paths, and trails crisscross throughout the neighbourhood, making it a walk in the park to get around on foot, bike, blades, or board.
